Our client is a leading international Retail and Manufacturing company with globally recognized brand and multiple exciting product lines. As a part of their expansion, they are currently looking for a new Global Quality Assurance Manager who will take a critical responsibility for ensuring that the company’s products, factories, and suppliers meet the international standards with respect to social, safety, performance, and other relevant quality compliance aspects.

Responsibilities
- Oversee New Supplier review, audits, quality, social and environmental compliance and actively participate in the new supplier selection.
- Research regulatory changes affecting branded product groups with 3rd parties as needed.
- Set up and improve Factory Quality System guidance & standards.
- Provide Regulatory Compliance Assurance, oversight, 3rd party relations, test contracting and test approvals.
- Take responsibility for ISO Implementation Guidance, Registrar relations and contracting oversight.
- Act as a key team member to develop policies related to social responsibilities of the company operations in Asian locations.
- Approve policies and procedures for branded product groups and related factories and suppliers.
- Test Protocol development for branded product groups with 3rd party laboratories.
- Develop and maintain Declarations of Conformity (DoC’s) for branded product groups.
- Initiate product recalls as needed.
- Review and approve internal and external Engineering Drawings.
- Suggest Engineering changes as necessary to ensure compliance with quality, safety and performance.
- Review repeat claims, recommend corrective actions and improvement validation.
- Cooperate with Customer Service teams and Subs on technical questions, claim review and feedback.
- Advise NPD on product feasibility, compliance requirements and product safety standards.
- Communicate with Group legal and Brand Communications teams on any technical questions arising from sensitive Claims.
