• Product design & customization
• Production process design & optimization
• Creating and checking of the following documents: PDD, Drawings, BOM, IPL and other documentation
• Execute qualification & certification tests in collaboration with the Certification Engineer
• Perform assigned engineering projects for product and manufacturing process realization
• Monitoring of new developments and technologies relevant to his/hers field of expertise
• Follow the company procedures, work instructions, regulations and comply with environmental, health and safety requirements
• Support Product Development in its development activities
• Support Sales during the RFQ process
• Define projects using the DIR process
• Lead small projects according to the DOE Design & Certification Process
• Bachelor in mechanical engineering or similar (e.g. production engineering)
• Minimum of 1 year engineering experience
• Ability and drive to perform basic mechanical calculations
• Affinity with aluminum and composite constructions
• PDM (SmarTeam) and ERP system experience is preferred
• Education and experience with 2D CAD and 3D CAD, SolidWorks is preferred
• Handy with MS-office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
