We are seeking a seasoned finance leader to oversee the full spectrum of financial operations in Thailand. This role is critical in driving financial discipline, ensuring compliance, and supporting commercial decision-making in a dynamic and growing business environment
Key Responsibilities :
- Provide leadership and oversight across Finance, Accounting, Tax, and Debt Collection teams to ensure operational excellence, compliance, and alignment with overall business goals.
- Manage day-to-day financial operations, including accounting, payables, receivables, reconciliations, and period-end closing processes.
- Lead the preparation and delivery of timely, accurate financial reports and analysis for internal management and group-level stakeholders.
- Drive the annual budgeting and forecasting process, collaborating closely with business leaders to ensure alignment with strategic priorities and resource planning.
- Monitor company cash flow, working capital, and liquidity; ensure effective treasury management and funding optimization.
- Strengthen and maintain internal control systems and financial governance frameworks to support business integrity and mitigate risks.
- Oversee corporate tax matters, working with external advisors and internal teams to ensure accurate submissions, timely filings, and full compliance with applicable regulations.
- Lead and continuously improve debt collection processes, ensuring sound credit policies, proactive receivables management, and timely follow-up with clients.
- Partner with the Country Manager and leadership team to provide financial insights that drive commercial decisions, operational efficiency, and sustainable growth.
- Support pricing and profitability analysis for new and existing business initiatives, including input into business cases and commercial planning.
- Actively lead or support the finance function’s role in cross-functional initiatives, including IT and system enhancements. For example: Lead the finance workstream in a new ERP implementation project, ensuring successful data migration, process alignment, system integration, and user adoption across key functions.
- Collaborate with group-level finance and strategy teams to align local performance with regional priorities and reporting expectations.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for external auditors, financial institutions, and regulatory stakeholders; oversee statutory audit and compliance activities.
- Develop and mentor the finance and accounting team, creating a culture of high performance, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Stay informed of industry developments, best practices, and regulatory updates, anticipating their potential impact and advising business leaders accordingly.
