Logistics Operation Assistant Manager

BROAD SCOPE:

• To execution and follow up transportation schedule, and daily operations.
• Managing local transportation of outbound shipments, coordinating with other parties, and optimizing logistics costs and times

ESSENTIAL DUTIES/ RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Plan and monitor transportation schedules to ensure timely deliveries.
• Coordinate with internal and external parties to streamline logistics operations
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and plan for future need.
• Prepare logistics reports and recommend process improvements.
• Monitor and ensure compliance with quality standards manufacturing logistics operations. Generate logistics reports and recommend process improvements
  
  

REQUIREMENTS:

• Ability to work under pressure and resolve issues promptly
• Skilled in using MS Office tools, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, especially Excel (e.g., Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP).
• Capable of analyzing, generating reports, and developing plans to enhance operational efficiency and support decision-making.
• Proficiency in relevant software and systems, such as ERP, WMS, or TMS, is necessary.

EDUCATION / QUALIFICATION:

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Industrial Management, or related field.
• 5 years of experience in logistics or warehouse operations, preferably in manufacturing and export.
• Teamwork and cross-functional collaboration
• Excellent communication and cooperation skills, with the ability to lead teams, convey ideas effectively, and build strong relationships
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with expertise in identifying and resolving operational issues to ensure the smooth and timely delivery of containers and goods
• Proficiency in analyzing data, identifying trends, and making recommendations for improvement
