The company is also the sole distributor and service center for "Mitsubishi" EDM, "Mitsubishi" laser cutting machine and "Mitsubishi" factory automation products in Thailand.

The company was founded in 1975 as Oriental Electric Industry Co., Ltd. (OEIC) and recently in April 2005, the name was changed to Mitsubishi Electric Automation (Thailand) Co., Ltd. (MEATH)
