Job Purpose:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced IT Project Management Lead to oversee and deliver enterprise-level technology projects, with a strong focus on supporting core business operations in the insurance and financial services sector. This role requires strong leadership, strategic thinking, and the ability to collaborate with both business and technical teams to deliver high-impact IT solutions that drive innovation, compliance, and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage end-to-end IT projects to ensure successful delivery within scope, time, budget, and quality—particularly in systems related to insurance operations, finance systems, policy administration, or claims management.
- Collaborate with Business Project Managers and key stakeholders from insurance and financial departments to gather requirements, design IT solutions, and ensure alignment with regulatory standards and business needs.
- Prepare project documentation, system manuals, and conduct user training sessions to ensure smooth adoption and handover to operational teams.
- Coach and lead the IT project management team to ensure consistent execution, continuous improvement, and team development.
- Coordinate with internal departments and external stakeholders, including system vendors, consultants, and outsource partners with domain expertise in insurance and finance.
- Monitor project progress and communicate status, risks, and outcomes to key stakeholders and senior leadership.
- Support IT infrastructure management, incident response, and business continuity strategies, especially in systems related to insurance product servicing and financial transactions.
- Participate in digital transformation initiatives that improve customer experience and operational efficiency in the insurance/financial context.
