- Develop 2D and 3D models for components such as chassis, body parts, powertrain systems, interior/exterior trims, or HVAC systems using CAD software (e.g., CATIA, NX, SolidWorks).
- Work with R&D, manufacturing, testing, and quality departments to ensure product feasibility and manufacturability.
- Conduct stress analysis, thermal performance simulations, and crash safety assessments to validate design integrity.
- Assist in building prototypes and coordinate validation tests (e.g., durability, vibration, crash tests).
- Ensure designs comply with standards such as ISO/TS 16949, SAE, and relevant safety and emission regulations.
- Improve existing parts for weight reduction, cost efficiency, durability, and performance enhancement.
- Prepare drawings, engineering change notices (ECNs), Bill of Materials (BOM), and other documentation for production teams.
- Provide design input and technical support during the production ramp-up phase or new model launch.
