This role is instrumental in the APAC Central Hub. This purpose of this role is to commercialize import opportunities for select APAC markets (Australia, Thailand, Myanmar, Cambodia, Laos, China, Hong Kong, and Taiwan) and drive incremental revenue and profitable growth. This role will provide end to end project management of import projects and own the timeline from kickoff to execution, while ensuring seamless forecast coordination and on-time delivery with Supply Chain. It will also 1) Drive lift & scale programs across APAC (multi-market initiatives) and for non-Create markets and 2) drive the import agenda and deliver on projects in the Phils MAPS markets when necessary. He/she will also work on integration and harmonization of the ways of working for import/exports into the broader Global Commercialization team.
On Imports, he/she will 1) partner with import markets to assess Desireability and identify products to meet market needs and 2) lead the Feasibility and Viability checking process including the coordination of cross-functional teams who may be required to develop the opportunity, while driving leverage of the existing PEP portfolio. Project types will be refresh (lift and scale) projects, and may be single-to-single or involve multi-markets. The role will own the complete import agenda for these markets, including change management communications.
On Exports, he/she will be the coordinator on behalf of critical APAC Export sources (primary focus is China Foods, India, Thailand, and Australia) and obtain any necessary inputs such as artwork and product details necessary to complete Feasibility and Viability checks for any of the import markets.
He/she will also support the the Sector I/E Commercialization team where necessary to drive renovation or localization projects (e.g., US migration, Taiwan Migration, Thailand Migration, etc) and drive capability building (e.g., Development and maintenance of Digital Product Catalogue, process improvement, scorecarding, etc), and on other ad-hoc Transformation related projects.

Import
• Lead end-to-end commercialization of the New Import Launches (NPL) from ideation to execution and apply 3 lens (Desirability, Feasbility, and Viability) view; support on full project management and timeline ownership, mitigate any regulatory, supply chain, financial, trademark issues, contract development, business model alignment, coordination on tax/control where relevant, product details, etc.
• Lead monthly touchpoints with Import Markets at Innovation Huddle: Proactively communicate and work with Commercial Leads to highlight relevant products and prioritize requests to go through Feasibilty/Viability checking; provide support to Commercial team to prepare for monthly Innovation Huddles. Closely partner with Supply Chain to identify appropriate sourcing solutions to maximize opportunities in Viability step
• Specifically on Refresh / Lift & Scale projects (includes migration/localization), support on end to end commercialization process – liasing with export market & cross-functional teams on product scope and specification alignment, packaging design, seasoning modifications, etc. Support on Stagegate process for where necessary
• Arrange for samples and delivery to markets
• Manage relevant changes to Digital Product Catalogue, including change management (e.g., artwork, formula change, degram, delist, etc)
• Support any related commercialization workstreams associated with unlocking new sources to broaden import range
• Ensure seamless coordination with Hub Supply Chain team to ensure seamless launch of new products, starting with accurate rolling forecast from Commercial Leads and proactively flagging any supply risks
• Support in contingency planning against unexpected supply shortages, disruptions, or outages
Export
• Single point of contact: ‘boots on ground’ to represent export source (China Foods is focus) and improve speed / accountability
• Coordinate at Export Source across all functions (SC, R&D, Finance, QA, Marketing, Plant) to support Feasibility and Viability checks; resolves issues to speed up
• Digital Product Catalogue maintenance: Highlight and support workstreams related to Change management; notify GBS team to make updates; ensure data accuracy of platform
• Support on Execution: Master Data Setup activities at export plants, material codes
Commrecialization of Lift & Scale for Non-Create Markets and Multi-Market Programs across APAC Sector
• Support on commercialization of lift and scale projects for non-create markets such as Korea, Phillipines, and Japan. Own end-to-end timeline from project kickoff to launch and support at Stagegate.
• Support and develop Multi-market Programs across APAC, including developing the ways of working across the participating markets, stakeholder management, decision making hierarchy, and appropriate governance forums. The goal of these projects would be to leverage and scale projects into programs, while unlocking speed to market and ensuring smooth project management and efficient decision making.
