We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented HR Compliance Officer to ensure our organization’s adherence to labor laws, internal policies, and HR best practices. This role is responsible for managing employee relations matters including disciplinary actions, grievances, and labor cases, while conducting regular audits of our food stores to ensure compliance and support employee well-being. A background in labor law or legal studies is highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
• Compliance & Legal:
o Monitor and ensure company HR practices comply with local labor laws and employment regulations.
o Interpret and apply labor laws, company policies, and resolve employee issues.
o Assist in handling labor disputes, disciplinary procedures, and terminations in accordance with legal and company guidelines.
o Support legal proceedings or liaison with legal counsel on HR-related legal matters.
• Employee Relations:
o Address and resolve employee grievances promptly and effectively.
o Facilitate fair and compliant disciplinary procedures.
o Provide guidance to managers on employee performance, conduct, and disciplinary processes.
• Store Audits & Well-being Checks:
o Conduct regular visits to food store locations to audit HR compliance, working conditions, and general staff welfare.
o Identify and address issues related to employee safety, engagement, and morale.
• Documentation & Reporting:
o Maintain and update HR compliance documentation, records of disciplinary actions, and audit findings.
o Prepare reports and recommendations for HR and management teams.
