Our Client is a leading Global Logistics Company who are rapidly growing in Thailand and SE Asia. They are seeking a Control Tower Manager to work in their Operational Key Account(Control Tower) Team in their Regional Headquarters in Central Bangkok.

Responsibilities;
- Support and work closely with Project Manager Customer Solutions during the implementation of Key Account Customer and proactively coordinate with the cross-functional stakeholders to set-up the account smoothly
- Ensure the transparency on shipment level by considering the alerts implemented by the Project Manager Customer Solutions (PMCS).
- Monitor the status code quality and ensure that status codes are set in the systems.
- Manage the business rules agreed with the customer based on the input received from PMCS. And monitor operational KPIs defined by the Regional Head of Control Tower.
- Prepare MBR, QBR, Business Review Reports together with PMCS.
- Investigate the current operational processes and propose process initiatives to drive operational smoothness and cost saving.
- Monitor and ensure that the Operations Teams use the correct information of Master Data in TMS Systems according to defined IOP
- Assist and monitor that Spot Requests from the customer are properly handled and quoted in timely and make sure that the Claim from the customer is properly handled and resolved.
- Monitor and ensure that the validation of Transport orders and creation of shipments are done by our operational Teams according to business rules.
- Monitor the document management of the shipments and ensure the team’s timely document upload in full; in case of missing documents ensure the provision of these.
- Prepare weekly and monthly shipment planning with Operational Teams by analysing volume forecast and received bookings.
- Ensure the capacity of the warehouses and incoming cargoes volume are being aligned and monitor the inventory reports for shipping out the cargoes without any storage charge.
- Ensure that the Operational Teams secure and arrange the bookings with the ocean carriers, air carriers, LSPs, haulage companies, customs brokerages, etc.
- Monitor adherence to the selected core carriers and tariffs.
- Ensure the team for approving AP invoices, costing timely and issuing AR Invoices in TMS Systems.
- Develop thorough understanding of the Air & Ocean business including the required documentation, customs clearance processes and overall market situation.
- Build a network within our oversea agent (Freight Network, Office Systems, ITPQ Team, Gateway, Head quarter Branches, Country Management Europe).
- Support RKAM/GKAM/CKAM achieve and exceed the annual commercial budget set for the account by constantly monitoring GP performance, communicate and investigate any margin leakages and negative jobs, support Ad-hoc or spot quotation and service upselling, etc.
- Support in proposing high impacting process improvements and/or cost saving initiatives based on the day-to-day operations and available data and tools.
