Job Summary:
We are looking for a technically proficient and business-oriented Sales Engineer fluent in Mandarin Chinese to support our sales activities with Chinese-speaking clients and partners. The role requires strong communication skills, a deep understanding of technical products or solutions, and the ability to bridge the gap between engineering and sales in a cross-cultural environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage and grow business relationships with Chinese-speaking customers and partners.
• Present and promote technical solutions tailored to client requirements.
• Translate technical documentation, presentations, and discussions as needed.
• Prepare and deliver proposals, quotations, and tender documents in both English and Chinese.
• Support pre-sales and post-sales activities, including product training and technical support.
• Work closely with engineering and product teams to ensure customer requirements are understood and met.
• Negotiate terms and close sales deals, achieving or exceeding sales targets.
• Represent the company at international trade shows, exhibitions, and client meetings.
• Monitor market trends, customer feedback, and competitor activities in Chinese-speaking regions.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, or related field).
• 2–5 years of experience in technical sales, business development, or engineering roles.
• Fluent in Mandarin Chinese and English (spoken and written); additional languages are a plus.
• Strong technical understanding of [insert relevant products/industry, e.g., electronics, automation, manufacturing].
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce).
• Willingness to travel locally and internationally as needed.
Preferred Traits:
• Familiarity with Chinese business culture and communication styles.
• Experience working with Chinese manufacturers, suppliers, or clients.
• Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills.
• Adaptability to a multicultural and fast-paced environment.
Work Environment:
• Office and field-based role with regular client visits and international coordination.
• Flexible work hours based on client time zones when necessary.
