- Position Summary
- The Document Controller is responsible for managing, organizing, and controlling all project-related documentation for construction projects. This role ensures that all documents are properly filed, easily accessible, accurately distributed to relevant parties, and maintained in compliance with company procedures, client requirements, and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
1. Establish and maintain an effective document control system for all project documents, including drawings, specifications, contracts, submittals, RFIs, transmittals, and reports.
2. Receive, review, record, distribute, and track all incoming and outgoing documentation.
3. Ensure proper document version control, accurate filing, and compliance with project standards.
4. Provide timely and accurate document support to project teams.
5. Coordinate document submissions with consultants, contractors, and subcontractors.
6. Prepare document transmittals and ensure timely distribution to all relevant stakeholders.
7. Monitor document workflows and maintain logs, registers, and databases.
8. Archive, protect, and maintain confidential and sensitive information.
9. Assist in preparing documentation status reports and related presentations.
10. Ensure compliance with ISO standards and company quality management systems.
